2008 Troon Challenge Finals

 

The 2008 Troon Challenge Finals were contested on August 23-24 on the highly acclaimed Revere Golf Club in Las Vegas, NV. With the help of Callaway Golf and American Hole in One, contestants were treated to a great weekend and walked away with many memories from the event.

 

In the Gross Division, Jonas DeWitte and Jason Guptill who qualified for the Finals at the Harmony Golf Preserve, found themselves deadlocked with Mike Rose and James Salerno who qualified at The Revere Golf Club with two day totals of 135. Two playoff holes were needed as Jonas DeWitte and Jason Guptill claimed the 2008 Troon Challenge "Gross" division Championship with a birdie on the second playoff hole.

 

In the Net Division, David Hwang and Nick Han who qualified at the Badlands Golf Club played their way to a first round eight under par 64 to lead three other teams by two shots going into the final round on Sunday. Sunday proved to be a repeat for Hwang and Han who shot 64 again to win the 2008 Troon Challenge "Net" division Championship by 2 shots over Talon Littrell and Jill Gallagher who qualified for the Finals at The Golf Club of Estrella.
